Solenostoma tetragonum is a leaf-like liverwort that was found in the same location as Bucephalandra motleyana "Gunung Sumpit" on the island of Borneo. The plant is believed to belong to the species Solenostoma tetragonum, formerly also known as Jungermannia tetragona, which is a liverwort spread over large parts of the Asian tropics where it grows in moist environments.

Solenostoma tetragonum is characterized by its soft and natural way of growing and its small, detailed leaves that create a living and organic expression in the aquarium. It fits very well on rocks, roots and other hardscape features where it can form decorative green areas with a natural jungle-like appearance.

Thanks to its unique appearance, this liverwort is particularly appreciated in aquascaping where you want to create a natural and mature impression with lots of structure and fine details.
