Cryptocoryne beckettii 'Petchii' is a small variety of Cryptocoryne beckettii from Sri Lanka, which has beautiful, slightly ribbed leaf edges, 10-15 cm long. The leaves become dark olive brown with a violet underside. Like many other Cryptocorynes, the color and shape of the leaves largely depends on the environmental conditions in the aquarium.

The plant arrives attached to its decorative material and can be placed directly in the desired position. Make sure it is stable and cannot fall against the glass or animals.
Leave the plant attached to the material. For rhizome plants such as Anubias, Bucephalandra and Java fern, the rhizome must not be covered by substrate because it may rot.
Many attached plants grow without added CO₂, although CO₂ and balanced nutrition may improve growth. Match the lighting to the species to discourage algae.
Remove damaged leaves, keep debris off the decoration and allow the plant time to adapt. Avoid moving it repeatedly while it establishes.
