Product description
Leopard Neritina is a striking algae-eating snail with a unique yellow, orange and black pattern. Each snail has its own individual markings, making it an eye-catching addition to the aquarium while also helping to keep it clean.
The snail continuously grazes on algae and biofilm from aquarium glass, rocks, driftwood and other hard surfaces. It is peaceful and an excellent choice for aquariums with shrimp and other peaceful inhabitants.
Like other Neritina snails, it may lay eggs in freshwater, but the larvae require brackish or saltier water to develop. Successful reproduction is therefore unlikely in a regular freshwater aquarium.
