Product description
Large mother plant grown in a 9 cm square pot.
Crinum thaianum from Thailand is a characteristic onion plant that belongs to the lily family and develops long leaves that can be between 60 and 200 cm long. The plant is easy to care for and hardy, but requires plenty of space to develop properly.
When the plant is planted, the upper two-thirds of the bulb should be left visible above the bottom substrate, otherwise the bulb is at risk of rotting.
As Crinum thaianum grows older, it can sometimes send up a flower stalk to the surface of the water where it develops an elegant and fragrant lily-like flower. The long undulating leaves create a natural and dramatic impression in the aquarium and make the plant an impressive eye-catcher in larger aquascapes.
