Black Rose is a highly selected black variant of Neocaridina davidi with dense, velvet-like colour across the whole body. The colour is deeper and more solid than in Black Sakura and gives a very exclusive impression. Care is nevertheless simple.

Behavior
Black Rose is a very peaceful and active shrimp that thrives best in a group. It can be kept together with other peaceful shrimp, snails and calm fish species that require similar water values.
Reproduction
• Females usually release up to 40 fully developed shrimplets
• New broods arrive roughly every 4–6 weeks
• The species breeds readily in fresh water under stable conditions
