Black is a stylish variant of Neocaridina davidi with a dark black color and a powerful expression in the aquarium. It is easy to care for, durable and suitable both for beginners and for aquarists who want to create a strong contrast in the colony. Just like other Neocaridina, it can in many cases be kept in ordinary tap water.

Behavior
Black is a calm and gregarious shrimp that likes to move actively when it feels safe in its environment. It can coexist with other peaceful shrimps, snails and small calm fish species with similar water requirements.
Reproduction
• Females usually release up to 40 fully developed fry
• New litters arrive approximately every 4–6 weeks
• The species reproduces easily in fresh water under stable conditions
