Mineral balls are a simple addition for aquariums with shrimps and other small aquarium animals. They contribute minerals to the water and at the same time provide a surface where biofilm and microorganisms can form - a natural food source that shrimp like to graze on.

The balls are placed directly in the aquarium and slowly dissolve over time. Suits particularly well in shrimp aquariums where a stable supply of minerals is important for, among other things, shell formation and molting.
