JBL ProScape Shrimp Soil – Special substrate for shrimp aquariums & aquascaping
ProScape Soil is a high-quality bottom substrate developed specifically for aquascaping and shrimp aquariums. The substrate affects the water values naturally by softening the water and lowering the pH slightly to a slightly acidic range - perfect for shrimp and other animals that thrive in soft water.
Unlike nutrient-rich PlantSoils, ShrimpSoil contains a more balanced amount of nutrients, making it ideal for shrimp aquariums while still providing the plants with enough nutrients and minerals for good growth.

Water values

Perfect for, for example, Neocaridina, Caridina and other species that prefer soft water.
Use
Rinse the substrate lightly in tap water before use to remove any dust from transport.
Fill the aquarium carefully to avoid swirling up the bottom substrate.
During the first two weeks, a water change of about 50% every two to three days is recommended.
The water-affecting effect gradually decreases over time depending on water values and water change routines.
