Plant Growth Substrate is a concentrated nutrient substrate that is used under the bottom gravel when starting up the aquarium to create optimal conditions for aquarium plants. The substrate ensures healthy and long-term plant growth by absorbing and storing nutrients that are then gradually made available to the plant's roots.

The product is neutral and does not affect the KH or pH value of the aquarium water, which makes it safe to use even in sensitive aquariums with shrimp and fish. For best results, the substrate is placed in an approximately 1 cm thick layer directly on the bottom of the aquarium before gravel or sand is added on top. This gives the plants a stable and nutritious basis to develop over a long period of time.
