Peacock moss from our own cultivation Portion of approx. 1 dl Peacock moss, really nice moss Taxiphyllum sp. Peacock moss is a dark green moss that seems to grow well in most environments. This moss grows slightly upwards and spreads its leaves outwards as they grow.

But the growth pattern varies greatly depending on light intensity and nutrient availability, more intense light also gives a denser moss. An easy-care and unassuming moss that also copes well with cooler temperatures. Does not form roots under water, should be tied to a rock or branch.
